ALRIGHT PEEPES, I'VE MOVED

To a place where I can finally post many pictures, because it's always good to change.

:D

Do come back to this blog some time though.

Flying a kite at Marina South was some experience!

Hell lot of running there was, and all of us had scars from the string burns when the kite flew up too high and the string was released very fast, ha ha.

It was much fun though!!!
Danielle, Lay Cheng & I are now experts in maneuvering the kite with the pulling and releasing of the string.

(Though it took us many failed attempts to get the kite to fly up, hehheh.)

Oh and once our kite got stuck on the tree top!

But instead of just thinking ¡°aww that¡¯s the end of our kite!¡± we tugged at the string for ages and PRESTO! the kite nicely un-entangled itself from the tree branches, to our great relief.

About an hour and a half later when we were done we were all sweaty and red but so so happy!

There¡¯s something very overwhelming about seeing your kite high up there almost blended in with the clouds (with occasional instances of birds circling around it) and knowing you have full control of it.

Did some Christmas shopping with them afterwards, and Lay Cheng finally bought me my pretty purple Nike bottle! :D

Gah and Lame Cheng! I was always remember you saying that my white fingernails look like a demoness. :|

*// sunday december 10

WHOOHOO!

Concert last night was a real blast, I¡¯ve never enjoyed myself while performing in a concert so much before!

St. Marg¡¯s main band played two pieces first, then the St. Marg¡¯s junior band, then WE made our grand entrace for the next two pieces.

After intermission it was the five pieces with Dr. John Lynch!

It was much fun, especially RUMBLEEEE.

I¡¯ve got tons of pictures to put up BUT diaryland doesn¡¯t allow pictures (sheesh) so I have to wait for Yee Hui to be done with my blogskin then I can move to blogspot AND put up all the lovely pictures with Lay Cheng, Danielle, Maui, my sister and I in it! :D

Wellwell.
I shall now go back to Miss Ratulangi¡¯s wedding ¨Cwhich Danielle and I attended- before we assembled at CJC for the concert.

It was reeeally sweeeet.

She was so pretty and looked so different from normal days in school, ha ha.
And I bet Danielle had the urge to cry (hehheh) because Miss Ratulangi was crying herself when she was exchanging the marriage vows!

Oh and because I was sitting at the aisle, I was given this bubble thingy in the shape of a mini wine bottle, to blow at Miss Ratulangi and her father while they were walking down the aisle.

And I still have SO much of it left!

I used some on the bus back from CJC to school when the concert ended, and I can¡¯t believe people get annoyed at bubbles, ha ha ha.

But Danielle, Lay Cheng, Maui and I were having much fun with it and random juniors will pop some bubbles too when it flew past them.

It¡¯s also especially fun when Lay Cheng is deeply absorbed in something and I send a whole hoard of bubbles floating towards her face and she starts going ¡°oi!!!¡± and laughing and sputtering.

Oh and yeah my sis is back from Europe!

with tons of boxes of different types of chocolates which are SO YUMMY!

*// friday december 8

Band practice at CJC PAC today!
It was called sound check but it wasn¡¯t really sound check-ish to me, more like band practice on the actual stage with bright lights and court shoes and all.

Oh yes and I have to mention that the humongous backstage dressing-room-cum-toilet is major STINKORAMA.
ha ha ha.

Anyway, tomorrow¡¯s THE day!
Hope all goes smoothly and well, and we manage to steal the audiences¡¯ breath away with some wonderful songs, heh heh.

Oooh Danielle just asked me if I wanted to go to Miss Ratulangi¡¯s wedding ceremony with her, and when it¡¯s done change to our band uniform then go and meet at CJC together.

I didn¡¯t even KNOW she was getting married, hurhur.

On a random note, Maui¡¯s adopted Tigger is so adorable!
I want one toooo.

*// wednesday december 6

These few days have been hard work at band; but what is achievement without hard work?

We finally got to meet Dr Lynch who flew in all the way from Kansas at St. Marg¡¯s today.
He¡¯s really one smiley guy, and, best of all, a clarinet player!

It¡¯ll be something new- to have him conduct us during this sat¡¯s concert instead of sir (who is only conducting the first two pieces).

Anyway I LOVE RUMBLE ON THE HIGH PLAINS.

When both bands play it together so well and the percussion do their part so full of energy and loudly (especially the timbale/toms ¡°duel¡±) it¡¯s awesome!! :D

And one section on the second page makes me so haaaappy, isn¡¯t that weird?
I feel so high playing it, and I wouldn¡¯t mind playing that section twenty times in a row (I think).

Anyway today Maui, Danielle, Lame Cheng & I took a bus from St. Marg to meet Yee Hui after band prac at velocity for lunch.

It was really fun, we just crapped like there¡¯s no tomorrow and teased Lame Cheng for her ahem ¡°preference for the other side¡± and a ton of other stuff occurred!

Oh well, yawn, I¡¯m so tired now, and there¡¯s more band tomorrow!

It¡¯ll be a longer practice for us because today it was St. Marg that stayed for another few hours to practice their individual piece so tomorrow¡¯s our turn.

Gaahhh one whole day of playing I don¡¯t think my front teeth/gums/poor red thumb can take it.

But I guess this is just a small (or medium- fine make it slightly biggish!) price to pay for Saturday night¡¯s fantastic concert (hur hur).

*// monday december 4

TODAY was the most fun entire day I¡¯ve spent recently with Lame Cheng Lay Cheng, or anybody for that matter.

Though something occurred in the morning considering her piggish-ness, but I¡¯ve sworn not to blog about it so I shan¡¯t, ha ha.

We went to velocity at novena!

The shops there have really nice stuff, but unfortunately lame cheng and I were short of dough so we didn¡¯t really spend much.

Also!!
We have hatched a plan to surprise a few lucky people, plus we want to buy some of our own stuff, so we decided to go back to velocity on either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on which day we have to stay for the whole day at st. marg¡¯s.

(Clue: if you¡¯ve spent time with us recently you might be the lucky person to get a wonderful surprise on a certain day, hehheh.)

After lunch at velocity we went to the airport!

We took a loooong train ride there and chatted non-stop.

Upon reaching there, we bought almost similar cute doggy handphone keychains at Terminal 2, then took a skytrain to Terminal 1 and had jollibean and watched people passing by the departure gate.

Then we took another skytrain back to Terminal 2, did some random stuff, and I explained to her what the different colours of the air stewardess¡¯ uniform meant, and she commented that some of them were very short, HA HA.

After about two hours plus, we took a looong train ride back to novena again whereby I met lionel (which dawn has dubbed The *beep*, ha ha but I can¡¯t say here I realise).

We had Ben & Jerry¡¯s, walked around, then went home.

Tomorrow onwards is going to be band, band, band, band!

Can¡¯t wait for concert on saturdayyyy.

*// sunday december 3

Congrats to CJ choir for getting a gold!

And according to my sister (who smsed me), the song which they thought they screwed up got awarded excellence recognition by the judges!

Guess they didn¡¯t go all the way to Prague for nothing.
And they must be having helluva time partying now.

*// saturday december 2

So I thought tuning the piano by myself would be easy- just brains, patience, and google; in actual fact I must be insane to think that.

"A simple tutorial to tune your piano" is a page of gibberish and anything but simple, and by patience I meant loads and loads and hell loads of patience to tune 80 strings, plus a couple of equipment (like mutes and wrench) is needed.

From the last paragraph ¡°Be careful! If you are careless in your tuning technique, you can break strings, loosen pins or cause other damage and ruin your expensive piano, so try on a cheap, old piano first¡± I can just about rest my case and leave the insides of my piano untouched gah.

Post-note: HELLO BEL IF YOU CAN SEE THIS HOPE YOU'RE HAVING FUN IN PRAGUE!! DON'T MISS ME!
Oh and I have regretfully turned your room upside down looking for your carolling scarf but it doesn't matter, right?
(well just something random cos I just found out they have internet there too hurhur)

*// thursday november 30

I'm baaaack!

Well this has been SOME week.
It's been hella fun though.

Monday we had a section outing at vivo city and sentosa!

It was suppose to be a sec four farewell party but errrr well we decided to hold another one because this didn't turn out quite right, ha ha.

Anyway, at sentosa I sat the 4D Magix thing with Maui and Christine (the rest found it too expensive so they sat outside and waited for us for about an hour).
It was good! Waaay better than Cinemania, because there was water coming out from in front and the animation and story was much funnier and realistic.

Ohhh yes and I met Dr Foster and Ms Yap at siloso beach!!

They were holding hands and taking a stroll and NO ONE recognized them except me because both of them teach my class history.
Heh heh!

Anyway, band camp WAS FUN, despite all the complaints about sleeping and over-practice and all.

We had Mr Nonami (guest conductor from Japan) come over and teach us.
He¡¯s a real old (about 70 plus!) lively guy and very funny.
We clarinets attended his workshop last year at Genting.

We also went over to St Margaret¡¯s every day to rehearse with them for our combined concert
Most of them are whacky and really friendly people!

Well yes then there¡¯s the ¡°illegal gatherings¡± at the double bass¡¯ corner where we played heart attack and cards and secretly had marshmallows.

And the sleeping and chatting at night and the barbecue and the movie (narnia)!

The barbecue at night was weird (tiny barbecue pits for every section- my section had two!) but very fun and bondingish though.

As usual, Christine (who, btw, brought tons of fruits and her own healthy meals) was the main person mending the fire and people like Lay Cheng (or lame cheng, ha ha) just ate and whined and asked ¡°anymore marshmallows?¡± and Danielle kept asking me to help her get a drink, hurhur.

And poor Maui had to eat her millions of different medicines because she had three days¡¯ MC (as a result from the sentosa outing before band camp) but still came for band camp.

Oh yes just a while ago lame cheng lay cheng gave me a tiny piece of a fruity bar she was eating and when it was in my mouth I saw that the packet had PICTURES of grapes and raspberries and my eyes widened in horror and lay cheng suddenly went ¡°AAH!! SORRY!! SPIT IT OUT!!¡± and I rushed to the bin to spit it out, and thank goodness I didn¡¯t swallow any.

HOWEVER.

I¡¯m now developing tons of itchy, red rashes and it¡¯s only been three hours, so I expect tomorrow to be a bad day.
To think I didn¡¯t even swallow it at all!

Gah oh well, next week will be a verrrrrry verrrry busy week with the arrival of Professor John Lynch and we¡¯ll be going to st. marg¡¯s every single day to have our rehearsal with him before the concert on Saturday.

On a random note, the last time I heard from my sis, she said that her plane touched down already and she's taking a 5 hour carriage ride from Vienna to, uh, Prague itself I guess.

She said that it's freaking cold and the buildings are super old, hehheh.

On a not too random note, I <3 my section! :D

*// sunday november 26

danielle said: CJ boys are so spastically cute!

Uh-huh.

I agree with dawn, my tags are weird indeed.

Only santa is having exams now, so don¡¯t expect to hear much from him, hur hur.

Well today was FUN!

And, as fun as it was, it was hella tiring too- Danielle, LC and I were sooo shagged and tired at the end of the day we were practically sleepwalking, ha ha.

Well the performance at church was, er, fine.
If you would call ending the song with a terribly mispitched note fine, and dawn who was watching it said it was all ¡®wobbly¡¯ and overall terrible.

I guess it wasn¡¯t terrible, but they were really soft though.

I played the piano introduction normal volume, and when they came in they were so soft and barely audible I was so shocked I immediately toned down a huge deal.

Anyway after church dawn and tiffany followed me all around- from church to bugis to city hall to citylink and finally to suntec JUST to look for a decent flower shop.

When we finally found an amaryllis flower shop, we stood there for AGES just to wait for lay cheng to arrive, and she took 538798 years to arrive.

But that poor girl!

Her nasty heels practically killed her feet which were all red and sore and peeling, so after buying flowers we walked (or rather, I walked- she hobbled) to Charles & Keith and got new shoes!

Oh yes this bouquet at the florist caught my eye, it was this champagne-coloured twelve un-bloomed tulips and SOO pretty!

However I found out that it was SIXTY DOLLARS, but that nice man (who was a bit *coughonthefemininesidecough*) charged me less!

Ha but it was still waay over my budget so lay cheng chipped in a bit, after which I bought four more stalks of flowers to give my sister¡¯s friend!

Anyway we walked and walked and walked and walked (times a million- oh make it a billion since it was RAINING) and finally got to VCH, whereby we met Danielle and went in.

Well!
The concert was fantastic, and I was secretly laughing at this taaall cj guy (whose name starts with an A) who was bobbing his head and practically thrusting his whole body forward while singing.

When the concert was done the three of us gave our flowers, met Priscilla Poon and chatted with her, then met xiuting and waved hi, then got lost because we had no idea where the mrt station was.

Thus we asked this woman, whose directions we followed- and is thus recorded in my book under ¡°THE directions you should never follow¡±.

She gave us the MEGGGAAAA long route to walk, and we walked and walked and walked and walked (times a million) and were dead beat by the time we reached the mrt.

We still went to have dinner at cine though (whereby we met xiuting AGAIN! Only we were saying that she probably reached there a whole lot earlier than us- probably had dinner, watched a movie, done her business, then left cine and THEN met us going in ha ha).

Well yada yada some other stuff happened, but all in all, we arrived home with sore feet and our eyes half-closed, hur hur.

But we seem to have recuperated fast considering we¡¯re all online now at this time!

Anywayyy section outing at vivocity and sentosa tomorrow- much looking forward to it, only I expect the same end-of-day result, ha ha.

*// saturday november 25

These couple of days promise to be exciting and fun ones, and I hope nothing goes berserk to dash my hopes!

Anyway, I was talking to weiling (the little one) a while ago on msn, and I asked her if she¡¯d memorized her song yet, because the performance is tomorrow, and her response was ¡°aiya no need one la¡ I just stand on stage smile smile can already people like¡¡±

Very silly reason, but very logical.

Oh yes and all I need now is a far-from-complete history project to be a happy-mood dampener.

My group mates were like ¡°very easy one! Just do up the conclusion and email it to the history teacher before the deadline.¡±

Aah so I THOUGHT it was easy too, and that it could be done in a matter of minutes.
I mean, just summing up! What could possibly be so hard, right?

BUT NOW I know why they want me to do the last, it¡¯s so that I can correct all the mistakes and silly typos and add in whatever¡¯s relevant and take out whatever¡¯s irrelevant.

And a hell lot of ¡°correction¡± there were!

It¡¯s not even correction anymore, later I¡¯m going to have to redo the ENTIRE history project with the help of dawn, who, after listening to my rantings, felt guilty (I guess) and decided to redo it with me.

Gah oh well!

That aside, I¡¯m much looking forward to tomorrow and next week!

And I want my present, santa!

*// friday november 24

Now WHAT is this commotion between danielle and santa?

I'm not even going to ask who "santa" is, because asking "who's santa?" on my tagboard is like asking a brick wall how its day went.

Anyway, in the afternoon I had a pretty fun albeit tiring time.

I came home at around late evening, then went out again to meet my sister (who was with her choir friends) for dinner before going for church choir (which we were really late for, because her choir practice ended late).

And, as again, during dinner I sat through hearing her choir friends gossip, do hilarious imitations of people (including "a certain facial feature") and teasing some of the guys, who were sitting at the other table.

Church choir went well, and the short rehearsal for sunday's performance after that went well too.

However I realised that I have a tendency to start day-dreaming and letting my mind wander off when I'm playing piano, because I memorise all my scores, and I'll be staring into space and letting my fingers and my instincts do all the work, then I totally forget what I was suppose to do next but in the end I'll just crap a few notes which fits perfectly into the piece.

And that's a helpful tool to have, too, although I'm not saying it's good, but I've used it even during the performances itself when I'm not focusing and no one actually realises that I've played a few notes missing or played it wrongly.

Heh heh.

Oh yes and I officially announce the closure of the horse scheme, because horse is an apparent idiot, really.

Poor danielle.

Ha ha ha ha.

*// tuesday november 21

I just told danielle,
santa claus is coming to town!
Let's go to town too so that we might see him!
But do you wonder WHY he wants to go to orchard, of all places- he'll get sighted and then mobbed by the vast amount of people there during christmas.

I watched casino royale at cine with my sister just a while ago after tuition, and had my late dinner in the theatre.

Gosh and my sis was all "why you ask me to watch this kind of shows you KNOW I'll get a heart attack! Gunshots keep going BOOM! out of the blue.. and I need to pee!"

It really was very exciting, and really sad too cos both the lead actress whom james bond loved and the other one james bond had an "affair" with at the beginning of the movie died.

AND the movie was hella long, and one thing after another kept popping up, and my sister and I were wondering when on earth the movie was going to end.

Thus when the "Mr White" guy was introduced some two and a half hours later, we were like "whaaat when's it gonna end" but as quickly as it was introduced, the movie ended as abruptly!

When james bond went "I'm james. James bond" after appearing out of nowhere and shooting mr white (WHO on earth is he?) and the credits started rolling my sis was like "huh?! finish already ah?!"

Well and we met a certain "facial feature" (while buying tickets), dubbed by monkey himself, who also happens to be monkey's cousin and my sister's choir friend.

Tsk tsk and I was said to be, will you believe it, stalking him.
Hellooo?! Just because he was walking in front and we were going down the escalators in cine!

"Very disturbing" indeed.
ha- ha.

*// monday november 20

From the lack of better things to do I started reading Les Miserables; a book I came across in the living room which turned out to be my dad's and also something he never read.

It's hella exciting and I was so absorbed into it I read it 'til the wee hours of the morning, disregarding the fact that the font was puny and the words were so cheeeem; some were french, and some not even found in the dictionary.

I'm so sick of the word "monsieur", really.

I'm at the part where the author keeps switching scenarios and protaganists, leaving me a tad confused, but then in the end it turns out everything is inter-connected and linked, in some surprising twists or other.

Anyway!

Today during band we were playing this song and I was getting really bored cos sir was working on the brass section, and I started noticing random stuff.

And I pointed out to maui that the tempo for the song was "Allegro Vivo!" and I started laughing cos it reminded me of yee hui calling me "vivo! dora" hahaha.

On a slight random note, today during band while we were practicing visions of flight, there was suddenly this slight tremor and the entire ground started shaking and sir was so surprised he stopped the playing immediately.

Hehheh and laycheng said she could see her bass clarinet vibrating in front of her!

It turned out to be some sort of vibrations from the construction site.

Ha thank goodness it's only that.
(although I secretly find it very exciting for a real, tiny, harmless earthquake to occur, hurhur)

Post Note:
Gosh my blog's giving me a headache- the entire sidebar IS BACK.
And to think I didn't do a single thing about it and was just about to resign to my fate already.

*// saturday november 18

KIWIIII

Saw this on maui's blog, so I went to youtube and got the html code and put it here, and she wrote that she watched this five times and burst into tears!

It's really very touching.

As monkey (who has watched it before too) says, it's like realising your dreams.

It's about a kiwi who wants to fly, and only could do so in the end by, well, comitting suicide if you'd call it that, and it was so happy it cried while it was "flying".

Go on, you know you want to click on it.

It has more than two million views, this video!
Gosh.

Anyway, I have promised monkey that I'd put his video (for which his group got an A- for) links up here so that he can score more viewership.

It's kinda funny too, anyway, and oh yes I thought that he was disguising himself as the old woman when it's actually someone else's grandmother.
(I might have been joking, hello!)

Here you go, watch it when you have nothing to do and when you want to watch something funny and entertaining and midly lame.

As I said, the indian guy is a riot.

PART ONE!

PART TWO!

*// friday november 17

Today during tuition when everyone was super quiet and heads bent over their work in full concentration, suddenly this high-pitched, shrill sound materialised and every single head turned around towards the sound.

It turned out to be the girl beside me's handphone, and it was the ringtone which apparently adults cannot hear.

It was so ear-piercing and it made it even worse that I was sitting next to her!

I had the shock of the century.

Anyway, today during church choir the pianist came late, so I went to play for awhile first 'til she came.

And hl informed me that next sunday we're performing I have a dream and that I'll be playing, not singing.

How very short notice, now I have a week to memorise the score because it's so much trouble to get someone to flip pages for me.

Oh well, more tomorrow!

*// thursday november 16

Ha I have proceeded to commence Plan A of my scheme to help danielle with horse.

Yes yes very busybody but very fun hurhur.

And danielle is making it all the easier for me because she is going with me for my sister's concert and buying flowers too.

Yayyyy!
So fun can't wait.

Hmm anyway I wonder what monkey meant in his tag?

*// wednesday november 15

Yes!!!
Finally, the last day of school.
You can't imagine how happy I am.

Anyway, I found out yesterday that Danielle Xaviera Chloe Poon Yen Chen's (don't ask me why, I just find it interesting) eyecandy number two is a horse, and also my sister's classmate now!

Isn't that just so interesting and coincidental.

Well anyway there are two concerts coming up!
My sister's (before they leave for prague) and mine.

Laycheng is possibly coming along with me to my sister's choir concert, aah then I can show her a certain someone I once mentioned to her before.

Oh yes ha ha the indian guy in monkey's video is such a riot.
I wonder if I should put the youtube link here?

Nahh maybe not lest monkey and its warped mind kills me.

Oh well, more tomorrow!

*// sunday november 12

Sometimes I wish I have absolutely nothing to do- no school, no band, no tuition, no piano, no homework, no tests, no church commitments.
Then I could do absolutely anything I desire, waste as much time as I want without having to worry about having to do this and that.

But of course I'll end up becoming bored to death.

Anyway, today dawn & I (that's two entries in a row I've been with a dawn- albeit this one weird and sarcastic the other one normal hehheh) hung out with eugene, which is not much of a change from tatsuro last last week, they're all loud little boys.

We played this board game with him in this room on the first floor which was some spelling thingy, and dawn and I were being totally ridiculous because we spelled every single easy word wrong on purpose, and was driving eugene up the wall.

We spelled peace as peece, elephant as elefant and so on, and once I nearly sent him to madness when he told me to spell lily, and I went ¡°hmm.. l-i-l-e-e? l-i-l-i? l-e-e-l-y?¡±

Ha ha ha.

And then dawn and I would draw out cards and instead of asking him to spell those easy words written on the cards, we would make up words like ¡°exhilarated¡± or ¡°destitute¡± and so on and he would go ¡°where got!! I dunno la.¡±

Anyway, his parents drove us to suntec later on and we spent some time at the arcade, watched pro people playing the rock fever thingy which is something like o2jam only it¡¯s a machine and has foot pedals and more difficult stuff.

Oh yes and at citylink, we sat down on this bench in front of thai express and watched people walk pass for about half an hour.

And in this short period of time we counted the number of people wearing crocs, and whether it¡¯s real or not, and it was SUCH a fun way of passing time.

We counted up to 47 I think, and we saw families whereby every single person from young to old were wearing crocs, and ALL FAKE.

And some crocs could be spotted from some distance away, because the colour was so tremendously outstanding and it was so obvious AND really ugly because it didn¡¯t match their clothes at all.

Uh and yes crocs makes you lose your toe on the escalator (well it was SUPPOSEDLY crocs so there).

Aah well school and extra a maths lesson and band tomorrow again!
I can¡¯t wait for everything to end, which is never, actually, but we all can dream can't we.

Speaking of which, I realized that the day I¡¯d be going for band camp is the same day my sister is leaving for Prague!
My parents will have some peace and quiet for awhile, ha ha.

yeesh but this is SO UNFAIR!

Me, carrying a tiny bag ready to go to school to spend my time having hours of band practice and SYF audition and sleeping on the floor in school.

WHILE

My sister goes to the airport and flies to Europe which is freezing and below 0 degrees and stays in a hotel and gets to travel around Prague and wears all her newly bought scarf and long johns and huge jackets and woolen hat and gloves.

Gah.

*// saturday november 11

So yes, dawn wanted me to blog about going to watch material girls with her yesterday night at The Cathay.

I know!
At first I couldn't believe I was watching material girls either, because everyone was saying what a bimbotic, senseless, no-plot/no-storyline movie whereby all they do is shop and shop and ask if their clothes are nice (glares at yee hui).

It wasn't all that great anyway, but it CERTAINLY wasn't how yee hui and her fellow friend have described it to be.

There WAS a storyline, whereby they spent like half of the movie becoming "investigators" and trying to clear their father's name.

Uh and yes, look, they NEVER even shopped ONCE.

Anyway, dawn & I were wondering what sort of people would go in, and we'd laugh at all the poor guys who have to accompany their girlfriends to watch this movie.

And just when the movie was about to start, this group of guys came in and sent dawn & I into this laughing fit because we couldn't imagine what sort of sensible guys would come and watch this when there were tons of other movies to watch.

Aah and we caught the 7.40pm show at The Cathay after having dinner at the weird japanese place that sells slightly strange but nice food.

We had ben & jerry's too to kill time, and the place in The Cathay is so much better than anywhere else.

But everywhere was so ulu and quiet in the huge building, and as always, it was AFTER the movie, at around 9+pm than it starts to get really crowded everywhere in orchard.

That includes the mrt too!
We took the mrt to Dhoby Gaut expecting it to be crowded like mad cos it was peak period, but it WAS SO EMPTY.

Oh yes heehee and we missed Dhoby Gaut cos we thought it was after City Hall so we ended at Raffles Place, got off, figured our way around, then dawn went "er... I have this feeling we're not at Dhoby Gaut."

Gosh and when we realised we WEREN'T at Dhoby Gaut we started laughing and laughing because it has never happened to us before, and we had to go back in and take two mrt stops back.

And it was a matter of minutes when we walked back into the very-empty-mrt, but guess what?

All of a sudden, before you can even say "Dhoby Gaut", hoards of people started pouring into the mrt station.

yeesh!
And all of a sudden dawn and I found ourselves having to squeeze with tons of people in the train.

Ha oh well, I want to watch step up! (even though it has a two-star rating, similar to material girls, hurhur).

*// friday november 10

TODAY Beverly and I were accused of cheating the classwork and copying each other.

YEESH.

My bio teacher announced in front of the whole class that two girls COPIED EACH OTHER'S WORK and were so lazy we DIDN'T REFER TO THE TEXTBOOK like what everyone else did.

And she said a whole string of other stuff like how these two girls' aren't very good in bio so even if we copy we should use our brains and copy someone better in it.

HELLO!

In the first place, if neither of us bothered to check up the textbook to do it and just copied each other's work (hence the similar work), WHERE DID WE GET OUR ANSWERS FROM?!

Why, she must think we're geniuses, I suddenly feel so happy.

Also, it's only classwork and not some major test, she didn't have to put us down like that, she could have came to CLARIFY with us first.

BUT NOOOO.
When we tried explaining to her and showing her proof that our answers were from the textbook, she went "no no I know where you got it from" and walked away.

SO WHERE, HUH??

As again, she thinks our information came from our brains.

yeesh I bet she didn't even know what she actually meant herself.

AND LISTEN UP!

The reason why our work were similar was because I shared my book with beverly (like what practically everyone else in class was doing) and we looked for the answers together and copied the paragraph from the textbook HENCE as the facts were all the same WE HAD THE SAME ANSWER.

And those that weren't in the textbook WAS FROM THE WORKSHEET SHE GAVE US.

Look, we even bothered to look into the worksheet for our answers!

Really, and if you think this is too much of me to write all these, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL if all you could do was to sit at the back of the class hot with anger and indignance while you hear your teacher talking about you and putting you down and giving you a description of things you ARE NOT and NEVER DID?

HUH?!

And she even wrote a whole lot of stuff on beverly's paper that aren't very encouraging to her (neither academically nor to her morale) and said she didn't bother to check the textbook WHEN WE SPENT SO LONG LOOKING FOR THE ANSWERS (because we weren't sure what the question wanted, hurhur).

AAARGGGHHH.

Well.
That aside, I suppose we can't really blame her though, because as our work were similar we gave her the impression that we copied each other.

BUT STILL.

Listen to our explanation la, can?

*// thursday november 9

Today the world did injustice to a wonderful being.

Today, I got scolded by every single bus driver whose bus I boarded for not bringing my ez-link card and instead paid fifty-five cents.

SERIOUSLY!

The reason why I pay in coins is because I DON'T HAVE MY EZ LINK CARD WITH ME.

yeesh.

Is that so hard to understand?!

And every single bus driver asked me to pay the adult fare after embarrassing me, except this female bus driver, who WASN'T MUCH BETTER.

She went "how much did you pay?" knowing well that I paid fifty-five cents because they have the thingy and after I politely informed her that, she went "show me your ez-link card."

And I said "oh I left it at home" and she went "tsk. why you never bring it!!" then rolled her eyes, totally scrunched up her face and gave me this sour look THEN let me pass.

The whole incident is as if she's a teacher, I'm a student, and I forgot to bring my homework.
yeesh!

Well enough about that.

I had amaths tuition just now, and although I do say how much I love differentiation I declare I no longer like it that much anymore.

I was given this worksheet on quotient differentiation and my tuition teacher went "easier than product differentiation! you can do that so this is nothing."

NOTHING?!

My brain almost died from it gahh and at one point of time all I saw were numbers and tons of x and y flying everywhere.

That aside, on the bus back from dinner with my sister (yes, yes, after the embarrassment I got from the bus driver once again) this lady carrying tons of plastic bags put them on the floor, and suddenly one huge papaya rolled out of the plastic bag onto the floor and CONTINUED rolling down the bus, and she didn't even know until this guy told her and she went and picked it up.

HA HA HA.
My sister and I were so tickled by it.

*// wednesday november 8

I gotta say christine is the most disciplined person I've ever known.

I think to be really disciplined isn't just doing brilliantly academically, but in everything else too like health, cca (band) and all that, all which fits the bill for her.

Gosh and she has her food plan for every day until her marathon and goes running practically every day.

Anyway!

I must say today was one heck of a busy day (and I expect many more of it these two months).

In the morning we met at the band room, then went over to the primary school to perform during their recess.

In the primary school canteen is this mini stage with the words "the wayang place" on it which is kinda cute and really colourful.

Well and we played the set of songs FOUR times, for the recesses for P3s, P4s, P5s, and then lastly P6s.

By the fourth time I was so sick of the songs already, ha ha.

After the whole thing was over I went back to class and had some emaths and then we went to the comp lab for history.

Then I met up with lynda, amy and laycheng and we walked all the way to pastamania for lunch, then walked all the way back.

When we came back we were so terribly late for the extra a maths lesson already, but Mr Teh is so very nice so he doesn't scold, hurhur.

Oh yes there was this question he asked, and no one answered, so he walked over to my table and told me to answer.

And I went "er... 3[g(x)]-2"
and he told the class loudly "this girl said 3[g(x)]-2! hmmph."

Then he proceeded to ask lynda next to me what she thinks the answer is, and she didn't know because she was stoning (ha ha) so he asked laycheng, who went "er... I think it is 3[g(x)]-2."

And then! mr teh went "CORRECT!" and walked to the front and wrote it on the board.

-.-

WELL.
After the amaths lesson ended we poor band girls went up to the band room and had band practice.
Hehheh.

Oh well, I will be going to laycheng's house later in the night to do some studying, so it's slack time for me now, ha ha.

*// tuesday november 7

I am mentally preparing myself to switch to blogspot soon enough.

And! I am looking for someone to make a blogskin for me (have sweetly asked yee hui if she will and her response is always "maybe") but I wonder how long it'll take.

Chances are I might not feel like announcing my new link to the whole world but chances are I might too!
Hurhur.

Well at tuition today I've finally gotten the hang of differentiation.
I did a couple of sums for product differentiation (chapter 13, I just realised we haven't even learned it in class yet and what we're learning now is chapter 12 differentiation only) and almost died from the vast amounts of nonsensical alphabets and numbers.
It is so crazy, but fun anyway when you start to get the hang of it after doing a million questions.

Oh well, it is now time again for me to be my usual hardworking self!

*// monday november 6

Well today I suddenly remembered about the funny little incident that occured yesterday in church.

See, as I had an urgent need to pee dawn and I slipped out during service and went to toilet.

And, being the smart person she is, she hallucinated FIFI walking into the boys' toilet, and being the usual sensible, compassionate girl she is she did the one thing she ALWAYS does in this sort of situations- pulling the handle to the boys' toilet to lock him inside the toilet.

However, lo and behold, it turned out it WASN'T fifi, but some squirt from the other service whom we don't have any inkling about at all, and have never spoken a word to before in all our fifteen years in this church.

Aah so imagine the embarrassment!
She let go of the door and ran back into the girls' toilet (which had a door that is always open) and the squirt walked past and glared at dawn.

HA HA imagine my amusement.

Oh yes and I also saw the guy who was on tv for having killed someone when he was a teenager (didn't get hanged, only strokes of the cane and long-term jail) and who now wants to apologise to the family of the guy he muredered hence went on tv.

I saw him on the first floor after service!
At first when wimp/dawn was talking to me I suddenly spotted him and stared at his face for a good two minutes before suddenly going "OHHH! YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS!"

My sudden outburst and interruption caused them a shock, of course, hur.

Oh well anyway on a short random note, today during band christine and I decided to hold another clarinet outing!
It was to go and cheer/support her when she is running her marathon (at the esplanade!).

However, I found out that it's on a SUNDAY and at 7am in the morning, the worst time and day ever.

So now I'm wondering if I should skip one day of church.

Ha ha ha.

*// sunday november 5

Yesterday was much fun!
Also the first time I've ever seen the Archbishop (and of course many other firsts too)!

Anyhoo during dinner/supper I took tons of really hilarious photos and videos of the three weirdos (the other three were spared, they were sitting behind), doing weird stuff, whacky poses, and when they played the game I took like six videos of them and it was SO funny I was re-watching them and kept laughing.

Well I've edited them already so come and get it from me folks, and mind you don't spill anything when you watch them.

We created such a scene and made such a din but ah- who cares it's not like we get to do that everyday and besides the place wasn't THAT crowded.

Ah well on a random note a certain monkey friend introduced these rowan atkinson plays to me and they are SO funny- that guy is always funny!

Here, watch them or regret!
A warm welcome
Fatal Beatings

*// saturday november 4

That was some wedding at Swissotel Merchant Court yesterday!

There were sword bearers carrying huge gold swords in some sort of SAF uniform because the bridegroom is a pilot.

And of course, there was us too!
Coordinating with them sword bearers to put up a grand entrance for the couple.

Anyway, as usual, we arrived there SO EARLY (we ALWAYS do that for all our performances) and did, what else?
WAIT.

We waited and waited, played some games, got annoyed, had frequent visits to the toilet just so we wouldn't have to be cooped up in the room.

And all the while we were in our band uniforms!
Ever since 2.45pm I was in my band uniform already.

And the wedding only really started at around 8.20pm!

The room was quite nice though, it had carpeted floors and would have been quite posh and relaxing if not for fourty girls and the huge instruments lying everywhere.

Ah yes and when the guests start pouring in (very late, as usual) a few of us went outside and I spotted GRETCHEN, who, although wasn't really wearing a skirt wasn't too bad either.

She had on MAKEUP and a TUBE DRESS (but she wore pants underneath, yeesh) and despite her height still wore three inch HEELS.

Really, someone should advice her against wearing heels, especially really high ones.

Aah and anyway miss ho looked really pretty in her white wedding gown-ish thing and her husband was wearing some officer/pilot/SAF (I have no idea) white suit (which looked really smart).

And he carried her!
Up the stairs on the stage!
It was so sweet.

Oooh and I saw practically every single teacher there, and the principal and even the OM too!
Ha ha.
I wanted to ask him for my IC.

Oh well after the whole thing was done Danielle, Maui, Laycheng and I went to the all-too-familiar toilet at the hotel to change, then we went for supper at plaza singapura, which was SOO SOO crowded, even worse that in the afternoon.

To think it was almost 11pm already!

Aah and as usual laycheng was complaining and whining and complaining and whining about the heaviness and hugeness of her bass clarinet (everyone had to bring home their instruments, even the tubas and the double bass!).

But it WAS heavy though, and attracted a lot of attention everywhere we went.

Oh yes and yesterday was Maui's birthday!
Poor Maui had to spend the entire day out for this thing and couldn't go home and spend her birthday with her mum, and when we were having supper she missed her mum so much.
awww hurhur.

Anyway I'll be going to meet a few of them weirdos later to get flowers then go for beverly's confirmation.

More tomorrow!

*// thursday november 2

Today at KFC before tuition while yeehui was being served, this middle-aged guy (who, no offense, was slightly deranged and a bit sissified) came up to the counter next to yeehui and the middle-aged woman behind the counter jokingly asked "yes, what do you want to eat?"

And the guy pointed at her with some sort of cheesy smile and said "I WANT TO EAT YOU UP."
Which sounded totally wrong, and the woman gave this sort of flattered short laugh (or so I think).

Anyway.

I was just thinking about it (because I'd had quite enough of amaths for the afternoon) and it worries me how I've started to dwell too much into certain things I've never really bothered about ; becoming too sensitive for my own liking, hence acting what is actually totally unnecessary and an on-the-spur-of-the-moment thing.

Creepy, isn't it, when these sort of thoughts suddenly pop up in your head but when you're actually taking control of your own life you don't realise what you're doing until you actually sit down and start day-dreaming thinking about stuff (like how you're going to actually finish all that maths).

And isn't it the worse thing when you say stuff which you totally don't mean (or might, subconciously) but it just slips out and before you know it- oopsie!

You find out you can't just reach your hand out and take back those words from the other person's ears and put it back into your mouth then swallow it down to your digestive system and make sure it stays there permanently and never gets excreted out.

Gah I wonder where these strange ideas came from- they just seemed to have come whooshing by into my head.

I guess it's time for me to do something more fun before maths gets the better of me.

PS: Danielle Xaviera Chloe Poon Yen Chen!
I mean I agree with what you said on your blog, and I'm not judging or anything, but don't forget most of us were like that too when we were juniors! So, just bear with it for awhile more.
It's inevitable- imagine if that wasn't the case, what prodigies we'll have then!

*// wednesday november 1

Well seems like I survived today, doesn't it?
It wasn't as bad as I'd imagined, anyway.
It was kinda fun too if I can say so myself (I mean, compared to staying at home like most of my other holidays).

So anyway, after school I went for the extra chem lesson thing at the AVA and sat with laycheng, amy and christine (because we were going to go for band afterwards- and besides not many people from my class attended it).

When we sat down we realised how many other band people were there too, actually all the sec threes from band taking pure chem (about thirteen I think?) were all there too.

After that, we made our "grand" entrance at around 4pm into the band room and had band prac for one hour.

Ohh and between the period of 4.30pm and 4.50pm there were THREE blackouts (presumably caused by the lightning, because following after every blackout would be rumblings of thunder), which came totally unexpected and everyone went "OHHH!" or some other sort of sound you'd expect normal girls to make.

And because all the curtains were drawn and there was no other way for light to come in the whole huge band room was pitch black and all everyone could do was sit there and talk in loud voices because we couldn't see the scores or anyone's face.

Anyway!

Seems like I'd be having a few exciting days ahead
(including a mole concept test on monday)
(KIDDING, duh).

Ooh like on friday (this is written for the benefit of blur lay cheng), I'd be having lunch with lay cheng after school then go home, change to full band uniform (like plus court shoes and stockings and all), then I'd be meeting her again at the playground and we'd come back to school to the band room.

Hm and after the wedding (at the merchant court hotel, for the benefit of all blur band members who come here) we'll be changing to our NORMAL, AVERAGE clothes and going for supper.

At around 9+ pm, I presume?

Ooh but poor laycheng will be carrying her huge bass clarinet around public transports and public areas because we'll be dismissed at the hotel itself without coming back to school.

Aah and how nice I shall finally see gretchen in some sort of flowing skirt and take plenty pictures of her as she will be attending Miss Ho's wedding.

Oh well! More of my exciting life on, um, sunday?
About beverly's confirmation! which will be on sat night.

Ah well for now I'll have to get down to doing the tons of homework and studying due tomorrow/soon.

So, toodles!

*// tuesday october 31

I was trying to be a model student by actually attempting to practice my clarinet a while ago, and after all the efforts of setting up the instrument I put it into my mouth and realised that the insides of my mouth hurt a lot, and when I looked into the mirror I realised - whoopsie-doo! they were bleeding slightly.

So after two notes of playing I decided that that was enough, I just had band yesterday and band again tomorrow I don't think I'd want to worsen the ulcers/infections/what-have-you-not in my mouth.

So anyway!
Today's the last sane day for me left, and tomorrow is officially the first of November, whereby my crazy and can't-breathe schedule starts.

You know there was so much stuff I actually made a time-table (just for november, I didn't want to kill myself) and realised that every single day had either school/band/amaths tuition or pick any two together (thus hello school seems like I'll be visiting you everyday).

Oh and heh heh by a stroke of luck I realised I have the 24th of November free (too complicated to explain why) so I shall spend that day wisely, to my advantage.

Really, if it turns out by some chance I actually have something to do that day I'll strangle the person who informs me that, because it is the ONLY day in the entire month I don't have loads of things on.

Gah but yes it's all for a good cause I know so I'll just put up with it with minimal complaining.

*// sunday october 29

As a continuation from yesterday, staying over at yee hui's house with only the two of us is some experience.

We did all sorts of stupid things (mainly yee hui, actually) and experienced many new things like activating her washing machine and using the can opener for the cocktail sausages for breakfast (and if you're interested to know, we didn't eat it in the end).

We took walks both late at night and early in the morning around her pool, played lots of eggbert (despite all the boasting, she really sucked at it) watched dvds, played stardoll, and some other stuff.

And her mother had to keep calling her all the way from Perth to make sure she was not mistreating me, and to give her instructions to treat me properly ha ha ha.

Well this morning after our breakfast (she scrambled eggs- unbelievable or not?), walk, and some eggbert, we took a 1km+ hike all the way out to the main road, and I took a cab to church.

Anyway today for church we did some different stuff for service, sat on the floor instead of chairs and played this game (which is surprisingly fun because I didn't have to do anything and it was really really hilarious and entertaining).

For the benefit of dawn, (who went for her dancing competition) nutcracker, who was beside me, laughed so hard he was practically rolling around the floor.
Ha.

Ah yes and during christmas carolling practice wimp joined us to sing alto, and it was SO entertaining.

Heh because everytime when it says "ladies unison" on the book he'll obviously sing too, since he's in alto and all and he sings high range, but he happens to be the ONLY male in the entire sop and alto section, so I'll constantly tease him and say "are you a lady?"

UGH and oh yes woe to me my holidays are no longer holidays anymore.

I just went to sign up for a math tuition with my sister (my sis is very close to the tuition teacher) and she was so exasperated because she realised how many days I have band (sometimes 4 times a week) and all the other stuff and so she was trying her best to compromise with my timings and find slots for me to come for tuition.

SO NOW I AM OFFICIALLY BUSY FROM MORNING TO NIGHT EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY DAY OF THE HOLIDAY.

Gosh this is terrible.

Oh yes plus there is school the entire morning until 1.50pm for the first three weeks of november, and after that I'll either rush for band, for a maths tuition, or for both.

Gah what a depressing way to end an entry!

*// saturday october 28

Well it's 9:04pm now and I'm at yee hui's house.

Her parents went to Perth together for a holiday and she's all alone at home (her brother went for NS police night duty) so she asked me if i could sleepover at her house today.

Ha ha she says it's scary being home alone.
And I must say IT IS, especially since her house is so big.
We're in her parents room where I'm blogging and she's on the bed eating an orange and watching Gilmore Girls.

When I went to her downstairs toilet I realised how empty and quiet her house was so I hurried back upstairs ha ha.

Ugh and I gotta go to church alone tomorrow morning, wonder how I'll do that.

Anyway, when we called pizza hut it was SUCH a bother.
They put us on hold for SO long and played some crappy advertisement.

Ha ha well yee hui just went "er by the way why shouldn't I be eating orange on the bed ah?"

so I went -.- "because it's JUICY, yeesh."

That weird girl.

And her mother kept calling her all the way from perth to make sure she wasn't mistreating me.
And she had to give her instructions on how to do the laundry, which buttons to press, ha ha.

And! I had to teach her how to feed the fishes too!
God.

Aah well more tomorrow!
I think I'll join her for Gilmore Girls.

*// friday october 27

It's all yee hui's fault for being addicted to stardoll and dragging me into it too.

I suppose I'm not addicted, just entertained because after signing up for an account there's tons of fun stuff to do!

Anyway I went to the esplanade with lay cheng and yee hui today, and it was kind of an interesting way to pass my afternoon.

We went to Max Brenna¡¯s for ¡°tea¡± and spent a whole lot of time deciding what to order because everything was so expensive (including the atmosphere).

A sandwich was twelve dollars!
But of course I doubt anyone goes there for real food, everyone goes there for the chocolate, the ice cream, the pastries and all that.

In the end lay cheng and yee hui shared a chocolate fondue because there wasn't the souffl¨¦ they wanted, and I bought a cup of ice cream.

Gosh and it was so lovely, it came in a tall glass and my white chocolate ice cream was swimming in dark chocolate and it had chocolate flakes all over!

Oh and LC and yee hui¡¯s was even more interesting (but not better ha).
It came in three separate bowls of chocolate sauce, white chocolate, dark chocolate, and um chocolate.
and underneath these bowls was a small flame to melt the chocolate and make sure it stays hot.

And then separately again came another two more bowls with marshmallows, rectangle bread pieces, strawberries and banana slices, all to be dipped into the chocolate.

It was so heavenly, and we all had weird long fork-like things to poke into the food and dip into the chocolate.
But in the end all of us were SO SICK of all the chocolate and I felt sick in the stomach, hurhur.

Oh! And thanks to my brilliant idea we poked our long fork-like thing into a marshmallow and stuck it into the hole where the flame was for some time and made ¡°barbecued marshmallows¡±, only it became burnt and tasted slightly horrid, ha ha.

And when the flame was burning the chocolate became saturated crystals (like crystallization in chemistry!)

So I suggested we blew out the flames together, since there were three of us and three flames.

God and we looked like such retards, bending down and blowing hard at the bowl while everyone else was eating all sophisticatedly.

Gah but for some reason my flame didn¡¯t go off, so I was last, and even then it was yee hui who blew it out for me in the end.

Oh well, then we went to the esplanade library, which is really conducive for studying, as I found out, and pretty cool.

But I was freeeeezing.

Heh oh well more later!

*// thursday october 26

Today is the official, but not-really last day of school.

It's all thanks to the O levels being brought forward next year, hence we still have three more weeks of school to study next year's syllabus.

Anyway, yesterday's concert was fun, plus the dinner and all, though I was slightly pissed at some trivial stuff.
My sister's choir friends are kinda funny too, in the really lame and embarrassing way of course (oops I hope none of them ever reads this- bel if you're reading this don't tell any of them!)

For example when we were walking along the river like late at night after the concert they started singing (REALLY loudly too, might I add) all the way to the mrt station, and inside the mrt station they continued singing!

And obviously people could hear them!
Imagine a whole bunch of people walking and singing together and not noticing.

And they talked all sorts of crap in the train (REALLY loudly too, in case you didn't already know that) and laughed and said lame stuff.

Gah but some people are annoyingly idiotic though.

Oh well, more later!

*// monday october 23

Gretchen said the most intelligent thing a minute ago.

"The beach is sandy!"

"But the beach IS sandy!"

ha oh well today for band we were practicing the song pomp and circumstance at the beginning of band prac for Miss Ho's wedding next friday, and halfway through she came in and heard it, ha ha.

And my ulcer infection SUCKS CAKES because it made me talk funny and I was practically suffering having to play my clarinet.

Maui wasn't much of a help too, she kept imitating my funny pronunciations like "yamahaaah" in this airy way.

Oh yes and during school time we had some cyber awareness talk before our inter-class dance competition and our instructor was this guy called adrian ang or something.

I have a feeling all the instructors collaborate together and plan their ghost stories.

He told us a few ghost stories (and many other non-related stuff, like watching this man and cow fighting which was actually quite gross) which I have no idea how it's relevant to cyber awareness.

According to danielle, her instructor told them ghost stories too!

I smell many rats.

Oh well, more later!

*// sunday october 22

As you probably have already noticed, I largened my font size for all you oldies who read my blog out there and complain that it's too small.

Today retro ol' grandmother from church turned un-retro.
Every single aspect of her retroness vanished into thin air just like that.

To think I wasn't even the one who noticed it, because she didn't wear her usual funky sunglasses, and instead it was dawn who pointed it out.

Anyway, after church dawn and I pulled tatsuro to go for lunch with us and everything was going fine and he was acting like some monkey until we came to this junction and when we crossed the road he turned around and did some weird hand action and ran back to church, and it turned out his parents wanted him to have lunch with them.

and tatsuro is one weird little boy, he believed us and acted so hilarious when dawn and I told him about the "secret" thing, heh heh.

Oh well so dawn and I went ahead to peace centre and played bishi-bashi again, and this time we played the english machine and yet again I gave up at the funny big-hair guy thing.

It seems like I can NEVER get it, what with the weird rhythmn and all, and my player's hair always stays small instead of poofing up.

Oh yess and on the way home i came across this tall african-american guy who had the exact same hair as the spastic guy in the bishi-bashi game!

It was SOO hilarious, his hair was humongous and I had to suppress the immense urge to laugh.

Oh well hope things don't screw up tomorrow!

*// saturday october 21

I had the tiringest saturday today.

Had to go to a million places, hence I had to skip the inter-class dance practice in school in the morning, and went to sign up for amaths tuition with my sister.
Afterwhich we went to my uncle's new house for his housewarming party.

My dad says changing houses is my uncle's hobby.
I suppose that is meant to be a joke, although my uncle does seem to be moving house quite frequently.

My cousins made my nieces call me "gugu" again, presumably as a mean of humiliating me, and it's somewhat
